On the 13th of March 2017 I presented our study about the importance of SEO for Tourism Websites. We analyzed over 400 Tourism Websites on the island of Kefalonia in terms of SEO compliance guidelines. Our results show that most of the websites are not optimized on several metrics and consequently do not rank well on search engines.
